Peristaltic Water Pump

One of the iconic MAE class at Cornell is MAE 2250: Mechanical Synthesis, in which students was introducted to precision machining (mill and lathe), product design, and rapid prototyping. For the first project, the entire classes were divided into groups of 5 students to design and make a water pump for competition: which team can draw the most water from the bucket in a minute. We made a single stroke peristalitic water pump and were one of the few teams who managed to make the pumps that worked.
