During the COVID-19 pandemic, I participated in a LinkedIn career coaching program and guided four potential students to familiarize with the finance industry and helped them set professional goals. The work to find and systematically prepare for their academic and professional objectives endowed me with a great sense of fulfillment, which has been one of many motivations for me to later co-found an international online education platform - New Age Owls.

As the CTO and CEO of China office, my duty is to levy the power of media and technology to bring together worldwide professional experts and talented students. However, I quickly met the first major challenge: productivity issue compared to traditional classrooms sits at the bottom of online education. To bring a smooth learning experience to our students, we sourced for professional Learning Management Systems solution teams to provide seamless online interactions between teachers and students. From teacher-student shared whiteboard to in-class sub-group discussion and debate, new functions and features are continuously developed to cater for emerging needs in active class participation and innovative music practice and co-performance.

On the other hand, to promote our brand name in China market, we collaborated with the largest social media provider, Tencent, on advertisement campaigns. By synthetically analyzing target city, user group profile and service positioning, user action feedback, as well as cost and capital expenditure efficiency, we formulated a comprehensive advertisement plan. Moreover, by recording a creative online teenage chorus under the theme of Chinese New Year and posting to TikTok and WeChat, we successfully reached the first batch of potential customers and established our influence.
