The “Cryptocurrency Digger” project provides an innovative Shiny application to analyze the cryptocurrency markets. Users can explore the dynamic relationship between cryptocurrencies and economic factors, with access to comprehensive data on five major cryptocurrencies and five crucial macroeconomic indicators. The project achieved user-friendly interface of Shiny, enabling users to filter data based on cryptocurrency types, economic indicators, and specific timeframes. This interactive approach empowers users to delve deep into market trends, fostering a deeper understanding of cryptocurrency behavior influenced by macroeconomic dynamics.
The heart of the application is a commitment to user-centric design and data accuracy. This project obtains sources from the US Inflation Calculator, Yahoo Finance, and CryptoDataDownload. This ensures that users receive reliable and meaningful insights into cryptocurrency trends and their correlations with macroeconomic factors. The user interface is designed with informative tabs for easy navigation, providing access to interactive plots and tables that adapt in real-time to user preferences.
