Ithaca Apple Harvest Festival 2020

Monday, Sept. 28 - Friday, Oct. 2

12:00pm - 4:00pm

Response to COVID-19

In response to COVID-19, the 2020 Ithaca Apple Harvest Festival will be extended over a full week. There are two separate events this year: the Open Air Farmers Market and the Apple & Cider Trail.

There will be a sectioned off area for the farmers market during the day, and farmers will have pre-packed Apples, Cider, and other fall produce for contactless grab & go. All customers entering this area are required to hand sanitize and wear masks. Additionally, lines for the stands will have 6' or more of social distance between customers.

The Apple & Cider Trail consists of various COVID-friendly stores and restaurants who offer specials and discounts. Customers are required to wear masks and social distance.

Lastly, hand sanitizer is stationed around the Ithaca Commons, and patrons are encouraged to bring their own for personal use as well. Click the buttons below to learn more about our two events this year!

Location

The Ithaca Apple Harvest Festival takes place in the heart of Downtown Ithaca during the last week of September. This year, we have de-densified the festival by condensing the Open Air Farmers Market to only the central plaza between East Seneca Street and East Green Street.

However, the Apple & Cider Festival Trail has locations all throughout the Commons. Please refer to the Trail Map for fun destinations to eat, drink, and shop!

Directions and Parking

Ithaca Commons is a brisk walk west from Cornell's Collegetown. Students can walk straight down Seneca Street and arrive right in the heart of AppleFest. If you prefer to bus, the TCAT routes 10, 30, 32, and 51 run during this time.

Residents and vistors can park in the Green, Seneca, and Cayuga Street garages and walk to anywhere in Downtown Ithaca.

Garage parking is $1.00/hour in the garages. On-street parking is $1.50/hour during the week until 6pm.
