I can't believe an architect came up with this. To go into the stacks you won't want to wear a dress/skirt and you won't want other people to be wearing wet, snowy boots because there are three levels of open metal grating to walk on...
Have you seen: Mui Ho Fine Arts library in AAP?
Does anyone know how to schedule an appointment for the 3-D printers?
So it is finals season and alot of architects have been using the CNC router, lazer cutters, and 3-D printers. I am a bit stressed because it as if they have priority over the equipment. I also have no idea how to get a chance to use the 3-D printer. One of my projects requires me to make custom pieces in PVA and making them by hand will take too long. Who do you have to talk to in order to get an appointment? Is it first come first serve? Should I have my STL file prepared?
Is it possible to get Adobe Creative Suite for free through Cornell?
Getting a lot more into design these days and really want to get Adobe Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, the works). I saw that the student discounted pricing in $20/month through Adobe, but my college budget is pretty tight. Anyone know of offices/departments/stipends at Cornell that could subsidize this or provide me with a free subscription? Feel like there must be a way that Cornell can help. Tried OADI but no luck.

Are there any places on campus where I can access colored pencils?
Does anyone want to share shipping or carpool to get lumber?
Hi everyone, I need to buy large pieces of 30"x40" birch plywood but the Cornell and AAP store do not sell anything like that. I can either go to Lowes, Homedepot, or Cayuga Lumber. But if I have no way to get there then I am also thinking about ordering online with express shipping. Does anyone have or know someone with a car? Or is interested in splitting shipping if you also interested in woodworking materials? Thank you!!! Please respond!! :)
