About the AMO
The Art Majors Organization's goal is to serve as the backbone for Fine Art majors within Architecture, Art, and Urban Planning. In doing so, the AMO organizes group exhibitions, field trips to museums and galleries, funds collaborative and public art projects, as well as holding various fundraising events and activities.
In addition, the AMO recognizes the importance of united activism if the needs of such a small program is to be met. With less than 120 students enrolled, the department may not always prioritize an arts education. However, through the AMO students are able to articulate requests and complaints to the AAP administration in a constructive and effective manner.
Currently being ran by President Ariel Noh, Vice President Lauren Park, and Treasurer William Demaria, the AMO hopes that their efforts will begin to transform the Fine Arts into a department of creativity, unity, and collaboration.
