Analysis #1

The first thing we would like to analyze is how the age gaps in Hollywood movies has changed over the course of this past century. Because of how more movies are released as time goes on, we plan on standardizing the data by comparing the percentages of age gap groups (i.e. 10 year age gaps, 20 year age gaps) between each year.

EDIT: During our analysis, we found that standardizing the data by year gaps did not yield useful results. We decided to regress our data without binning it instead, which yielded much more relevant results.

Analysis #2

Another topic we would love to explore is how the proportion of homosexual relationships in Hollywood movies has changed in comparison to heterosexual relationships (also over the course of this past century).
